 Your Passion. Our Script. What is Image Verification ( Captcha )?A security test to determine whether or not the user is human. This will ensure that only human visitors will actually submit the form, and not spamming bots that are browsing the web from site to site and submit spam where they can. It is well known that programmers can do programs for many jobs, including visiting a large amount of sites on the Internet by following links from page to page and collect emails listed on websites, submit contact forms, or even trying to break passwords by trying to login over and over again with computer generated passwords. Fortunately, it is impossible for a non-human ( ex. computer program ) to extract a word or a combination of letters and numbers from an image, if the letters and numbers are not all of the same size and of similar font. This is why, the Image Verification security method ensures that only people actually can submit a form. |

- Born and based in Belfast, I paddle anything anywhere. I used to paddle only kayaks, but in recent years I have moved into open boats, C1 and OC1 playboats, and even some squirt boating. I can normally be found on some stretch of water somewhere, as I believe it's always a good time to paddle. I run rivers from grades 1-5 in a kayak, and so far to grade 3 in a traditional open boat and grade 4 in C1 and OC1. I have been on the Irish freestyle team for C1 and OC1 and I travelled to Lienz in Austria for the 2010 European Championships. I compete in many disciplines all over Ireland, including freestyle, boaterx, wild-water racing, marathon canoeing, canoe polo, squirt-boating and slalom. Typically when taking part in wildwater races or marathon races I paddle a tandom open boat with my friend Sonya. At the Liffey Descent 2009 we finished 18th out of 109 finishers and in 2010 we were the first mixed crew home - 12th overall. As well as competing all over Ireland, north and south, I also attend numerous recreation paddles organised by CANI - these are typically done in my open boat with my dog - luckily she still likes the boat when I take it down some whitewater
